Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? You’re not alone.

At Partswake, we believe inventory circulation should be clear, trustworthy, and collaboration-driven.

Whether you’re submitting inventory for the first time, responding to an RFQ, confirming a process, or setting up your
account—you’ll find answers to the most common questions here.

Inventory
Submission

What file formats can I upload?

We support Excel (.xls / .xlsx), CSV, and PDF file formats.

No data cleaning or template adjustment is required—the system parser can recognize most common structures and automatically extract fields.

What is the minimum quantity per line item?

However, specific quote entries may have an MOQ or Minimum Packaging Quantity (e.g., full reel, full tray, or full pack) set by the supplier. These details will be clearly indicated in each quote’s description so buyers can review and confirm before placing an order.

Whether an MOQ applies—and its value—depends on the material itself and the supplier’s policy.

Can I submit opened trays or cut tape?

Yes. As long as the part number, brand, package type, and other identifying information are intact—and the component condition allows for effective identification and evaluation—the platform can include it in the structured processing workflow. For small batches, opened packaging, or borderline-condition stock, the system will automatically flag the item and prompt for additional details or manual confirmation. This ensures that circulation decisions are based on sufficient information, clear matching paths, and controlled risk.

Do I need to clean up my files before uploading?

Not necessarily. The system supports non-standardized spreadsheets. While clear, well-structured data can improve recognition speed, it is not a strict prerequisite.

Request for
Quotation (RFQ)

How soon will I receive a quote?

You’ll receive a personalized response within 48 hours.

Once submitted, you’ll immediately get a confirmation email containing the part numbers and requirement details you provided.

Do you support sample or prototype quantities?

Yes—absolutely. We welcome RFQ requests for single items, validation units, or small-batch quantities, ideal for prototype design, substitution verification, or pre-production preparation.

Can I request pricing for parts that aren’t listed?

Absolutely. You can either manually enter the part numbers or upload a BOM that includes your target components. The system will intelligently match resources across the network, connect with qualified responders, and generate a custom quote just for you.

Transaction
Security

Can I inspect the parts before delivery?

Absolutely. We can arrange certified quality inspections before shipment to ensure the material condition meets your requirements.

Inspections can be conducted by a trusted third-party organization or our in-house quality control team, covering aspects such as packaging integrity, labeling, and batch verification. If you have specific inspection requirements, let us know before placing your order, and we’ll tailor the process to the characteristics of the components.

Only after inspections are completed and results confirmed will we proceed with final shipment and settlement—ensuring the procurement process is both safe and controlled.

How is payment handled?

Payments are processed through secure, verified channels.
We support multiple major international payment methods, including:

  • Bank Wire Transfer
  • PayPal (for smaller transactions or specific markets)
  • Other verified payment gateways (arranged according to region and transaction needs)

For sellers, payments are released after the parts pass inspection and are successfully delivered, ensuring transactional security and compliance. The platform manages all payment flows and records, providing a fully traceable financial trail.

Are there listing fees or hidden charges?

No. Partswake does not charge for submitting inventory and has no hidden service costs. All fees related to quotes or transactions are clearly stated in advance in the agreement or quotation.

You pay only for the portion of inventory that is successfully transacted—no unexpected charges, no duplicate fees.
